Women Only Surfski Progression Paddles

This weekly women’s paddle is about building fitness, technique, and community — all through the rhythm of a steady surfski session.

It’s social in spirit, but we’re here to move and discover what’s possible on surfski.


Who it’s for:

This session is open to women* who:
✅ Can confidently remount a surfski without assistance
✅ Can maintain an average pace of ~7 km/h over 2 hours

Start with our Intro to Surfski lesson — it’s the perfect first step and required before joining this group.

*”Women on Water” is inclusive and welcomes (but is not limited to): cis-gender women, nonbinary folks, transgender women, 2-spirited folks, those who are exploring or do not conform to gender identity, and those who feel safe and included in our space.


Cost:

💥 Free if you have your own surfski
🛶 $29 for a 2-hour rental

We may evolve this paddle into a donation-based event, with proceeds supporting local initiatives like Sage House. Stay tuned.

This is a guided, group fitness paddle — not a drop-in.
To join, you’ll need to be approved by our team to ensure it’s the right fit.
