SUP Pod Camp – Half Day
A private customizable camp for your friends and family!
Book your instructor for the week and fill the camp with up to 5 kids of your choice!
Pod camps (formally Private Camps) are a great way to keep siblings and friends together in a fun, safe and exciting outdoor environment. These camps provide a great opportunity to try a variety of paddling activities such as kayaking in single kayaks, a kayak adventure in double kayaks, and paddle boarding.
Here are the basic guidelines
Camps can be kayak, paddleboard or a mix of both (dependent on equipment availability)
Book now and pay the flat rate fee for the week to reserve your spot. We will reach out to you after you book to organize the names and information for the up to 5 camp participants.
Pod camps have a broad age range and can accommodate children ages 7-16. Keep in mind that closer age groups do provide a better learning environment for on-water travel and skill development
Who should enroll on this course
Kids ages 7-16
Participants should be comfortable swimming for short periods in the ocean
All participants wear life jackets at all times during water activities
No previous kayak experience required

How it works

Cancellation Policy:
We require 14 days notice to cancel a summer camp booking and reschedule or receive full refund. Cancellations within 14 days will not be subject to refund and can not be rescheduled.
Weekdays During Summer Vacation
Monday to Friday every week ( except, Tuesday – Friday July 4-7 & August 8-11)

What to Bring
What to wear and bring on the water:
- A bathing suit
- Non-Cotton insulating layers (polyester or wool)
- OR a wetsuit if you have one!
- Secure waterproof or water-resistant shoes (NO FLIP FLOPS!)
- Sunscreen and a sun hat
- Sunglasses with a strap
- Water bottle with a carabiner
We will be spending some time on land, make sure you have:
- Spare clothes AND dry shoes to wear on land
- A towel
- Snacks (and lunch if you are doing a full-day camp)
- Lots of water
- Extra sunscreen
Our camps are FULLY OUTDOORS and run rain or shine! It can get COLD on rainy days, so if it is due to rain, please think about bringing:
- Rain jacket and rain pants
- Rain boots with extra pairs of THICK wooly socks
- Gloves and a toque
- Extra layers to wear on land AND on the water (e.g. fleece pants/sweaters and backup rain gear)
- Thermos with a hot drink
- Extra food – you burn a lot of energy being outdoors all day
We store all belongings outdoors in the park, please leave any valuables at home
