This on-land lesson will empower you to better plan and prepare your kayaking day trips. This lesson is for those who would like some guidance on planning and preparedness as well as learning how to navigate using a marine chart and sourcing and interpreting a marine weather forecast.

- Equipment and trip preparedness
- Introduction to weather interpretation
- Sourcing tide and current information
- Introduction to sea kayak navigation using a marine chart

Completion of:
- Intro to Sea Kayaking course.
- Intro to Capsize & Recovery course.
- Or equivalent experience
