Learn to Ride Waves in a Surfski!
Catching a wave is often the most exhilarating feeling one gets while paddling! The Surfski is the perfect craft in which to learn to ride open ocean waves. This course is for intermediate to advanced paddlers looking for a safe, but exhilarating rough water challenge! It consists of four 2.5 hr sessions, the first three building the skills necessary towards the final day…riding waves at the Ambleside tide rip!
Sessions include:
- Remounts and Rescues
- Forward Paddling Power
- Bracing, Balance and Riding Waves
- Riding Waves at the Ambleside Tide Race
Who should enroll on this course
Introduction to Surfski lesson or equivalent experience.

$25 non-refundable registration fee (per person per lesson). 14 days notice before first day of your lesson is required to reschedule or to cancel for a refund (not including the non-refundable $25 registration fee)
