Get Paddle Canada Certified
This multi-day, 16 hour course, is a comprehensive introduction to the fun and exciting sport of sea kayaking.
Your instructor will teach you the skills necessary to safely plan and execute a day trip with friends in Class 1 Waters.*
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive the nationally recognised Paddle Canada Level 1 certification.
This certificate will allow you to paddle by yourself at all of our rental locations.

Paddle Canada Level 1 Skills Course for Beginners
Becoming Paddle Canada Level 1 certified will enable you to paddle solo at our waterfront rental locations.
Who should enroll on this course
This course is a comprehensive introduction to the basics of sea kayaking. Many beginners start here and it is a gateway course that will unlock your kayaking world!
Lessons occur in Class 1 waters. i.e: non-challenging, protected waters with limited wind effect, little or no current, easy landings and ready access to land-based assistance.
