Paddle Canada Level 1 Instructor Course

Get Certified as a PCL1 Kayak Instructor

This course will help you build a solid foundation in Sea Kayak Instructing. Throughout this course you will learn: group management strategies, coaching and leadership methodologies, lesson planning and delivery, detection and correction of deficiencies among many other skills.

Who should enroll on this course

Paddle Canada Level 2 certified paddlers

14 Hour Standard First or 16 hour Wilderness First Aid (can be completed after the course)

Pricing

$695 plus GST ($100 extra for rental of kayak, safety gear and wetsuit for the week)

$25 non-refundable registration fee (per person per lesson). 14 days notice before first day of your lesson is required to reschedule or to cancel for a refund (not including the non-refundable $25 registration fee)
