This course serves as the starting point in the Paddle Canada progression scheme and provides structured learning for fundamental life-long kayaking skills.

Students will each paddle their own single kayak. Our Paddle Canada certified instructors will teach these students about the kayaks, basic strokes, and options to move the kayaks in different directions. Students will also learn to capsize and exit their kayak, as well as how to get back in with the help of a partner. This will be done in a safe and supported environment.
