We are a volunteer-run workout group, where women+ can train and paddle together where our focus is on fitness, connecting to the ocean, and creating a supportive community of female paddlers.
These sessions are not competitive or race-focused, however, they will be great training for anyone who is looking to build their paddling fitness or confidence for taking part in any races.
🌊 Workouts are every Sat 7 AM – 8 AM and every Weds 6.30 PM – 7.30 PM and facilitated by our volunteer coaches who are all Paddle Canada SUP instructor certified.
🌊 Workouts are a mixture of intervals, sprints, or distance targets.
🌊 Workouts are posted in the Deep Cove Women+ SUP Club Facebook group, so any members who are unable to make in-person workouts can still participate and be included.
🌊 We use bungees to create resistance for faster paddlers, this will keep the group paddling together while on the water.
🌊 Women+ who are 16 years of age or older
🌊 Women+ who paddle a race board that is 27” or narrower (for traveling safely on the water together at similar speeds)
🌊 $30 admin fee to join the club (this covers our admin and waiver costs)

🌊 Access to the Deep Cove Women+ SUP Club Facebook group where we will post the weekly workouts, SUP events, motivation and accountability, and where members can find paddling buddies.
We are actively growing the representation of Women+ in the local SUP fitness community. “Women+” is an inclusive term that includes, but is not limited to: cis-gender women, nonbinary folks, transgender women, 2-spirited folks, those who are exploring or do not conform to gender identity, and those who feel safe and included in our space.
