An easy paddle from Deep Cove takes you to Lone Rock Point. A privately owned island with a beautiful log house on it that even has a helipad! There is a bridge from the island to the mainland that you can paddle under at certain times, otherwise be careful of the rocks. You cannot pull up your kayaks or stand up paddleboards here.

The house has been used in several films and TV shows such as Double Jeopardy and Danger Bay.

From here you can turn back to Deep Cove for a leisurely paddle, or head across to Raccoon Island or Jug Island.
